What are "recompute_cocg" and "inc" in gradient function?

Hello, I want to use cs_field_gradient_scalar() function, but it needs two inputs that I don't know what are they! One of them is recompute_cocg which has the following description in doxygen: should COCG FV quantities be recomputed ? What is COCG? Is it necessary to be recomputed? The other one is ...

Re: System error: Too many open files in system

Thank you very much Yvan,

I restarted the simulation using checkpoints and now it's on iteration #30,000 without any problems.
I'm on a new node.
I think the previous node on the cluster had some issues.

Mohammad

Re: System error: Too many open files in system

Hello, Yes! I defined 9 fields and I use cs_user_extra_operations.c file to compute the value of that fields. I also compute about 14 time moments is cs_user_parameters-time-moments.c file. Please note that I don't use bft_printf() function in my codes ,but I use write() function of fortran to write...

System error: Too many open files in system

Hello, I'm simulating a duct flow on a cluster using code_saturne 5.0.9. Everything was OK, untill the simulation stopped after 4400 iterations with the following error: System error: Too many open files in system ../../../../src/base/cs_base_fortran.c:544: Fatal error. It is impossible to re-open t...

Re: Running parallel calculation from Terminal

Hello,

If you want to run the code with x parallel cores, you have to use the following command:

Code: Select all

code_saturne run -n x
Example
For running the code with 4 parallel cores:

Code: Select all

code_saturne run -n 4

Re: Sort the exported data in parallel mode

Hello,

Thanks a lot.
I did it using cs_glob_mesh->global_cell_num and Linux's terminal sort command!

Sort the exported data in parallel mode

Hello, I want to export the u component of velocity field every 100 iterations to a file. I also write the coordinates of the cells in 3 columns. So, I wrote the following codes in cs_extra_operations.cs file. const cs_lnum_t n_cells = cs_glob_mesh-> n_cells; cs_real_3_t *cvar_vel = (cs_real_3_t *)C...

Disable exporting a field in post-processing stage

Hello, As you know all user defined fields values will be exported in a specific file (with .0001 extension) in post-processing stage which may occupy a lot of disk space specially for clusters which there is only a very limited disks pace available for user. Is there an option to disable this featu...
