Re: Syrthes - Code_Saturne coupling problem
Thanks. That got me past the path not found error. However, I am using the example files directly from the code_saturne example directory and the coupled case doesn't run. The individual cases (fluid and solid), individually, work fine. In the RESU_COUPLING/2015......./ directory the summary file sa...

Re: Syrthes - Code_Saturne coupling problem
I used the code_saturne cmd to create the study/case: code_saturne create --study 3disks2D --case case1 Then I copied the files from the code_saturne-4.0.0/examples/4-2Ddisks/case1/solid to their respective directories (per the coupling tutorial). The runcase file I assume was created automatically ...

Re: Steady state compressible flow
I am replying to my own post. Very sad.
We are now in the 4.x.x series of code_saturne and it is still not possible to do steady state compressible flow from the gui. Any tutorials on how to do this using scripts?

Syrthes - Code_Saturne coupling problem
I installed code_saturne 4.0.0 and syrthes 4.3.0 together. Each code works individually but when I try to couple them together I get the following error: Single processor Code_Saturne simulation. Single processor SYRTHES simulation. **************************** Preparing calculation data ***********...

Re: Guide to couple Saturne & SYRTHES
The patch doesn't work. Is it because I'm using the .tar.gz from the download website instead of the repo version? Is it even possible to get the repository version? I haven't seen any links to it. Second 'git am <patch filename>' doesn't work. I get the following error: fatal: Not a git repository ...

Re: Guide to couple Saturne & SYRTHES
Hi Andrea: Great tutorial! However, I tried to build Syrthes 4.1.1 with the latest Code Saturne Beta 4.0 build 7136 and I get the following errors: make[1]: *** [exe] Error 1 make: *** [syrthesmed] Error 2 syr_cfd_coupling.c:1077:3: error: unknown type name ‘ple_mesh_elements_closest_t’ syr_cfd_coup...

Re: Compressible flow inlet not matching boundary conditions
I am using version 3.3.2. Regarding pressure at inlet - we do many turbine blade profile assessments. One criteria that is often used is to determine the the loss coefficient \xi . This is defined by the average total pressure difference upstream and downstream of the blade cascade, measured over on...
