unsteady scalar diffusion stopping before steady state

Hello, Yvan, I move my previous post here as sugested by you. I attached the setup programmes. My mesh is msh and it can't be uploaded to the forum apparently. It is a structured uniform 1000 hexa elements mesh along 10 mm in x. In the BC programme uploaded, concetration is set at 1e3. If you change...

unsteady scalar diffusion stopping before steady state

Hello, I was making some test because I want to perform some calculations of mixing in small channels and I found the following result: Imagine a unidimensional diffusion problem say a structured mesh on x direction of 10 mm, with 1000 elements. On one end I set a dirichlet condition for my salar, a...

Re: pressure inlet boundary condition

Thank you Yvan for your answer. I am already imposing pressure (0 Pa) at the outlet also. What I want to know is if one can impose a pressure difference and let the flow adapt to that condition in Code_Saturne. I agree with you it is more common to impose velocity at the inlet, but I want to compare...

Re: pressure inlet boundary condition

Ok sorry, I translate my question: I would like to impose a dirichlet bc for the pressure: I'm running a 2d case of a jet, with an inlet where I can either impose a velocity or a pressure, and then this channel flow will exit into a chamber (a box with exit bc where I use isolib bc). if I fix the ve...

pressure inlet boundary condition

Re: calcul fait dans itrmas.f90

Thanks Yvan, I'll keep on working and check on the forum from time to time so see if there is an update on the other questions.
Regards
Martín

Re: calcul fait dans itrmas.f90

Hello Yvan, I have read the theory documentation of the versions (1.3.1) and (3.3), condli and clptur. I see no difference between these two documentations. I have compared condli.f and condli.f90 and I see that in the new version there are pointers to gradient boundary conditions 'iclu = iclrtp(iu,...
