Hello Yvan and Jérôme,
Thank your for your respective detailed feedback :). Actually it works well with the ALU technique using the MUMPS solver :). Probably it could be still optimized regarding the calculation performance (adequate parallelization combined to advanced MUMPs options to speed up ...

Re: Combination of CDO solidification and CHT within the V9.0
Hello Jérôme,
Thank you for your reply :). Here below some complement from y side :):
1) Regarding the mesh, I think that a bug or a functionality limitation occured, since the mesh joining (I have to get the operation's name afterwards and will give it here) was already performed on SALOMÉ and ...

Parallel Calculation Efficiency with CDO
Hello,
I noticed somewhere in the forum that the parallelism efficiency with the legacy FV method is reached with about 32000 cells per CPU (assumed without multi-threading). Is that the same ratio using the CS default CDO_fb space discretization ?
Thank you in advance.
Kind regards.

Re: Internal Fluid-Thermal coupling with the V9.0
Hello Chai,
Thank you for your explanation. Actually, it works as expected when the mesh is performed from the CS meshing tool, that is to say as a single mesh and when conditions are applied for example using of a space criterion. The original mesh was actually composed of reunited submeshes ...

Re: Internal Fluid-Thermal coupling with the V9.0
Hello Chai,
Thank you for the exhaustive explanation. Moreover in case of internal coupling, is it possible to define the boundaries which are coupled using a user function ? In my case, the fluid is indeed connected to the solid through 2 internal boundaries and the heat flux occurs only for one ...

Re: Internal Fluid-Thermal coupling with the V9.0
Hi Chai,
Thank you for your explanation. Well by checking or not the checkbox, I observed two different behaviour within the solid and I wanted to be sure that the activation of the checkbox replaces the thermal boundary conditions defined within the fluid domain at the interface with the solid ...

Hello Chai,
Thank your for your feedback. I think that I noticed in that forum that it was not possible, hence the question.
Kind regards.

Re: Solidification modelling with the V9.0
Hello Yvan,
It works indeed better using the MUMPS solver and with much better convergence of the velocity field.
Thanks
!

Combination of CDO solidification and CHT within the V9.0
Hello,
Does the CDO solidification model being compatible with the conjugate heat transfer within the V9.0 ?
Thank you in advance.

Internal Fluid-Thermal coupling with the V9.0
Hello,
I tried to perform a fluid-thermal coupling with the V9.0 by referring to the dedicated poge https://www.code-saturne.org/documentation/9.0/doxygen/src/advanced_conjugate_heat_transfer.html . The snapshot related to the conjugate heat transfer does not seem to be up-to-date and the ...
