Hello everyone,
A quick follow-up on this topic. Still hoping someone might have insights or suggestions to share.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance
Cyril

Diffusion coefficient of species in SGDH
Hello everyone,
I have a question about the scalar diffusion coefficient set in the GUI under:
Volume conditions > all_cells > Diffusion coefficient of species.
For a bit of context i am talking about an atmospheric simulation where i define a user scalar to transport with the SGDH flux model ...

Re: y+ value for k-e wall function with high roughness
Hello Yvan,
Thank you for your response.
I was wondering, what do you mean when you say that "the roughness adds an amount of user modeling"?
Currently, the roughness is just a few clicks in the GUI, so the 'user modeling' aspect seems non-existent to me.
Best regards,
Cyril

y+ value for k-e wall function with high roughness
Hello everyone,
I am conducting some simulations on atmospheric boundary layer cases (with typical domain dimensions of 2 km in length and 150 m in height). Thus, I am working with the atmospheric module, the k-epsilon linear production turbulence model, and a two-scale logarithmic law as the wall ...
