Question related Code_Saturne recommandation

Dear Support team, I've seen the following recommendation in Code_Saturne general documentation (in Atmospheric flows module part): In some case, the turbulent eddy viscosity can drop to unrealistically low values (especially with $k-\varepsilon$ model in stable atmospheric condition). In those case...

Re: 2 questions related to Code_Saturne usage

Hello Yvan, Thanks for your feedback. For the second point, I finally managed to activate and post-process "wall_distance" calculation from Code_Saturne in order to handle this topic easily in paraview. "wall_distance is not a default output so I had to activated it from user's subrou...

2 questions related to Code_Saturne usage

Re: Code_Saturne on hpc

And when looking at my run.cfg file, I have n_procs =5, what makes sense regarding what I initially wanted.

Re: Code_Saturne on hpc

Hello,

I have made an additional test locally on my machine. I'm asking 5 processes with 1 thread per process and when looking at my log file, I can read:
Processors/node: 6
OpenMP threads : 4
I thought I would have respectively 5 and 1.
Could someone explain me this?
Kind regards

Code_Saturne on hpc

Dear support team, I'm currently trying to transfer runs prepared locally (using n_threads=xxx in run.cfg)) on a machine to hpc. When using slurm and restarting the calculation on hpc, I'm using n_procs= yyy in run.cfg but I'm facing errors due to the fact that the folder already exists in RESU. Sin...

Re: Scalars and RIJ ssg

Hello again,

I was considering that DFM would be more suitable than SGDH in case I use RIJ ssg turbulence, am I wrong on this point?

Kind regards
