Re: Code_Saturne (6.1.0) with Salome (9.4 Ubuntu 1804) building.

Hi Yvan, thank you for your precise explanations. For my future, I want to link CS to Salome-Meca (to test fluid-structure implementation = FSI): is it possible to build by scratch Salome-Meca 19? I was not able to find source codes. Obviously, I will write the same answer also in Code-Aster Forum. ...

Code_Saturne (6.1.0) with Salome (9.4 Ubuntu 1804) building.

Hi to everybody. I did many attempts to build CS6.0.2 with Salome ( in my machine, I installed Salome-Meca2019.0.3, SALOME-9.3.0-UB18.04-SRC and SALOME-9.4.0-UB18.04-SRC; all are working properly), using in turn each of Salome installed, but without any fortune. Reading around this forum, where I fo...

Re: How to couple Code_saturne and Salome

Hello, Ok,. We usually install code_saturne in a user or project directory ($HOME/Code_Saturne/6.0, $HOME/opt/code-saturne-6.0, /opt/code_saturne-6.0, or whatewer similar path we choose). Which makes it easier to see what originates from the code_saturne install and what does not. In your case, if ...

Again about Anason tutorial - Particle Dispersion in a Turbulent Pipe Flow - example files

Hi to everybody, I' trying to complete this tutorial, but I'm locked at second step: particles. For the first step, because I'm not able to write programs in C/C++, I did a different method to add 'special' boundary condition at inlet. I used a "Norm (User law)" for inlet BC, producing the...

Tutorial: 02_full_domain doesn't work

Hi to everybody, I'm new to Code_Saturne, and I'm trying to rerun tutorials. 1th , 01_simple_junction, is ok; but, because PDF file is written for Code_Saturne rel.5.2, the correct correspondence between commands and GUI for cs6.0.2 is missing. Now, I'm testing the tutorial in the subject, but I'm n...
