The new version of Code_Saturne, Code_Saturne 3.0 is available for download.

The 2013 edition of the Code_Saturne user meeting will be held on Tuesday, April the 9th.

Registration is now closed.

In march 2007, EDF released its first open-source version of Code_Saturne, namely version 1.3.f.

Some applications:

• Deposit, slagging and fouling (PWR heat exchangers, coal furnaces …)
• Particle trajectories in cyclone separators
• Impact phenomena (turbine blades)

This is a demo case in order to illustrate the behavior of particles after an impact. The color of the particles change with their resident time.
